Favorite Guardian:
I've been asked to pick my favorite Guardian of the five, and to this day haven't been able to pick just one. They are
all really awesome in their own way.
But that's no fun. So if I absolute HAD to pick a favorite, I'd have to go with... er... wow, this is hard!
Okay, after considerable thought, I'm going to choose Yan Lin. She is really a true friend, observant to all around her,
and fun to be around. Plus, she knows a LOT about Meridian! So I think she'd be a good Guardian to have around, if you know
what I mean.
Favorite Non-Guardian Character:
This one is not so easy either. I began the story loving Ash to death. I always knew what I was going to do with Dante
so I loved him as well, even though no one else knew who he was yet.
But for this, I'm going to have to go with Sydrin. I mean, there are so many components to his character, but yet he
has so simple a personality. He's very cool and collected all the time, and it's very unpredictable what will upset
him.
And then there's his magic. I added that he was cousin to the queen so that you would get a sense of what kind of magic
he has, though he hasn't really used much of it yet. Though, trust me, it's subtle but it's definitely there.
I had fun with his appearance as well. He's got a very majestic look about him, since cats come with a prestine presence
already. You would look at him and think: how does he manage to stay that clean, in the midst of all his fighting? But cats
don't seem to get dirty either, so...
Favorite Romantic Pairing:
This one was much easier to answer. From the moment I started this story, Ash and Wilona have been my favorite pairing
of all time. Their story is utterly romantic to me, and quite sweet, which is the way I wanted it. Here's a love that has
been tried and found true repeatedly.They each have known no other person to love but each other. Then, suddenly, just when
their love could be legalized, it is suddenly outlawed again. Hey, they've waited this long... what's a few more years? It'll
be worth it to them in the end.
Favorite Thing About This Story:
Favorite things about this story, by far, is the relationships. Not just the romantic ones, but the friendships as well.
Everyone has a unique relationship with one another, yet they all have a way of being grounded in reality, I think. I love
the relationships between the girls: the tension between Halinor and Kadma, the closeness in Cassidy, Nerissa and Yan Lin.
I love how they each handle the feelings that come their way, especially toward the guys in their lives. Nerissa is shy, whereas Cassidy
is bold. The contrast is wonderful, I think. It's so much fun to write, as well.
Favorite Chapter So Far:
Season 1-
Chapter 1: "The Meaning Revealed"
I loved writing this chapter the most out of all of them, and I think it shows through my words. It was my 'season finale'
of sorts, and it revealed what surprises I had been building up since early on. I'm a fan of strong emotion, and you can feel
the emotion spring forth the most out of this chapter than any other yet.
